What Amitable is and the problem it solves

Why Amitable puts connected business data, workflows, and AI assistance in one workspace.

Amitable is a workspace for teams whose work does not fit neatly into one spreadsheet. It brings collections of documents, relationships between those collections, team access, and AI-assisted tools into one working system.

The problem with disconnected tables

Many business processes begin in a spreadsheet. Over time, separate files appear for customers, orders, projects, equipment, tasks, and payments. The data is useful, but the relationships between those things become difficult to see and maintain.

Copying values between files creates duplicates. Sending a new version around the team makes it unclear which information is current. A change in one place does not automatically update the related work somewhere else.

A workspace that reflects the process

Amitable lets a team create collections around the things it works with and connect them with references. A customer can be linked to an order, a project to its owner, or a product to its supplier. Fields can evolve as the process becomes clearer, while records remain available for direct editing.

The workspace is also the boundary for collaboration and access. Different teams, clients, or projects can have separate spaces with the collections and members they need.

AI as another way to work with data

Search, sorting, and filters remain available. AI adds a natural-language interface for questions such as:

Show me orders that are running late.

Find customers with no recent activity.

The goal is not to hide the underlying data. It is to make the existing structure easier to explore and use.

Start small and grow

A team can import an existing CSV, clean up the records, and gradually add relationships, views, automations, or AI-assisted workflows. Amitable does not require a complete model of the business on the first day.

That combination—structured data, connected records, and a process that can grow—is the problem Amitable is being built to solve.
